A Reason For Joy, A Reason for Thanks

 

Joy is something that often is sought in our life.  God gives us great joy at times when we need it most.  As we say goodbye to many pillars of our church, we are greeted with new beginnings.  Joy comes and we remember what those who have gone before us cherished so much.

 

Our joy grows in knowing that we will see our friends and family again in Christ after this life.  Death is the ultimate sadness, and conversely Life is the ultimate joy.  The life that God gives us is very full and rich and the song of life must play on.  Remember the greatest Joy that Christ gives us and the smaller joys in life that God blesses us with.

 

Wisdom tells us to be thankful to God for all the joys in our life.  Let us give thanks for those who have gone before us and for those who are coming after us, one family in Christ forevermore.
